On a typical hot air balloon flight the adventure begins long before your balloon leaves the ground. You will be invited to take part in unpacking and inflating the balloon and will have a chance to meet and greet your fellow passengers before climbing aboard.
When your pilot is happy to launch the balloon his ground crew will release the tethers and retreat to the chase vehicle and your flight will begin. You will rise into the air and gently float on the breeze over trees and buildings, high above the fields and rolling hills of the English countryside, suspended in a woven wicker basket beneath a big, beautiful balloon.
